Stuff is a happenin' here at the funk

DECEMBER 1, 2000:  As of this date, we made the necessary and long planned transition to MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) sales only.  As with most other manufacturers, distribution over large geographic areas, i.e. Dealers, is vital for growth and to keep new development in full gear--if we continued to sell direct, at our previous discounted pricing, we would technically be competing with our dealers.  One of the major benefits of this transition will be the ability for our customers to hopefully walk into their local music store and check out our gear in person.  It's a happy thing, and will allow us to keep new gear coming on a regular basis.

NEW FACILITY:
October 10th, 2000, we boxed up all of our zillions of knobs and panels and meters and stuff, ordered about 90 pizzas (more fun to eat before moving so you can have cramp contests), and finally made the move into our modest but very cool new building... much more room... great workshop... a little warm inside though...

NEW PRODUCTS:
The Cocobolo Exotic Hardwood Panels are now shipping.  We hand selected 600 pounds of absolutely prime Cocobolo Hardwood (South American) which was then cut into 1 and 2 space panels, fine sanded, lacquer finished and finally laser engraved with our logo.  The logo is intentionally very discrete and visible only with certain lighting angles--it's pretty cool, actually...

The new 3P-III Palindrometers are also fully in stock and shipping, as of January 1st, one year prior to 2002.  You would not want this thing to fall from an airplane and stick in your skull!  (then again, that would apply to most everything).  The 3P-III is a 3-space unit made from a hefty chunk of 1/8" Aluminum and finished in a fine texture dark blue powder coating.  The cool part:  All of the control text are Palindromes (reads the same forward or backward).  With two "AA" batteries (yes, they are not included...sorry), the center toggle switch activates a kickin' red LED lamp to make it look "on-ish".  Click the link above for more info/pics.

Many thanks and we'll keep the site updated as things eek into existence...
